Yes. The Midland D10 is a PMR446/DMR446 transceiver that can be used license-free throughout Europe, in compliance with the regulations governing PMR446 devices.
Yes. The D10 supports both analog and digital modes, making it easy to operate in environments with mixed radio fleets.
The range depends on the operating environment. In urban areas it may be around 1 to 2 km, in open areas with obstacles between 4 and 6 km, while under optimal conditions and in digital mode it can reach up to 14 km.
Simply press the Function 1 button briefly. The D10 will provide a voice announcement indicating whether the battery level is low, medium, or high.
It is recommended to check the volume, the selected channel and, on analog channels, ensure that the CTCSS or DCS codes are correctly configured. In digital mode, it is also advisable to verify the Color Code and Radio ID settings.
Thanks to the 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery, operating time can reach up to 40 hours in analog mode and up to 50 hours in digital mode, depending on usage.
Yes. In addition to the desktop charger, the D10 can be charged directly via its USB-C port using the supplied cable.
Under normal conditions, a full recharge of the 2600 mAh battery takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Yes. The device is IP54 certified and provides reliable protection against dust and water splashes during everyday use.
Using the side function buttons, you can quickly change zones. Zone 1 contains the analog channels, while Zone 2 contains the preset digital channels.
On analog channels, the Monitor function temporarily opens the squelch, allowing you to hear very weak signals that would normally be filtered out.
Yes. Using the programming software available for download from the “Support” section of the MIDLAND EUROPE website. The programming cable is the same cable used to charge the radio and is included in the package
The D10 includes an automatic Power Save function that activates after approximately 5 seconds of inactivity to reduce power consumption and extend battery life.
Yes. The D10 features a dedicated accessory connector for microphones, earpieces, headsets, and other compatible accessories.
To perform a full reset, turn on the radio while simultaneously holding down the Function 1 button and the PTT button. This will restore the device to its original factory settings.
